The Cure For Racism

What is racism--in it's toxic form at least--but intellectual elitism? You know, feeling like you're superior to others because you're biologically more advanced. And what 'higher intellectual' with this conviction cannot deny that sub-Saharan Blacks, as a group, are intellectually inferior to themselves? By their own measure (IQ, academia and professional status) sub-Saharan Blacks are indeed inferior, so in turn we should assume that most intellectuals are racist.

This I believe, might be why academics oppose racism with such dutiful conviction. There's an insecurity there - a demon that needs to be hidden? No one wants to see themselves as racist. Especially if they are.

But don't despair. I have a solution. I have a solution to the mental picture that intellectuals have in their minds, and it derives from seeing exactly what the intellect is, and how it works with that thing we call consciousness. As follows:

When you go to sleep and dream your neocortex almost entirely shuts down. The result is that your IQ drops to about 20 when sleeping. Yet, while dreaming, you are of course the exact same conscious entity, the exact same soul. When dreaming we respond to mental information just like when we're awake, but the different kind of information induces a more powerful subjective experience, with sometimes strange perceptual depths, because when you walk out of the room of your neocrotex other cognitive processes can then become more dominant, within the consciousness.

What does that mean? It means the heart of what you are--what we all are--is not even the brain. The brain is just a computer--like a bio-electric ebook--that the consciousness logs on or off to. And you cannot log on to a neocrotex and have it be heavily dominant in consciousness, without also logging off to other parts of your brain and experience. Consciousness is not 'greater' when we awaken - just relocated. Indeed, many intellectuals are so logged on to the brain of abstract thinking, and so neglecting of other domains of thought, that for all their intelligence they can become strangely stupid in terms of more common types of thought. In fact they can be curiously daft at times, even within the fields of their expertise.

My point? Intellectuals who are good at solving the kind of problems presented on an IQ test should remember that the heart of what they are is, as far as we can know, no different to what anyone else is. And they should note that you cannot live in one mental zone without splitting from another, so it pays to respect the "humble" abilities of those who see and process information from maybe a very different angle to yourself. Because, even within your field of expertise, those supposedly dumb guys might be able to do what you could never do.

As I like to say, for a crude example: A common intellectual will master a difficult language - but a clever person will simplify it. 'Clever' doesn't show up on an IQ test. You won't win a degree with it.

Of course it's important to respect your own strengths, so you can lead when and where you should, but it's just as important to respect the strengths of others and to try and understand those strengths. The genuinely humble intellectual is not only more personable, but also more powerful. By contrast, the arrogant mentality is inept at finding (and exploiting) their human compliments, and often blind to their own weaknesses.

Knowing what the intellect is, and getting it in perspective, can be a robust cure for arrogance. The intellect (as we commonly respect it) is ultimately just a machine that can take from the mind as much as it gives. And at worse, enslave us into an unfeeling world of sterile and empty abstraction.

Radicals - A Powerful Enemy

Andrew Atkin:

This was such a good letter, forwarded from New Zealander Paul Davie, that I have decided to make an article of it.

My forward:

If there are crocodiles in the river - what do you do? Do you hold up a sign that says "crocodiles have rights too" and slam anyone who preaches to take caution as prejudice bigots, or do you seek to understand the crocodiles and objectively deal with them?

Radical extremists are a natural threat and always have been. If we stand back and let radicals do their thing, then we only have ourselves to blame, as all societies must seek out and respond to threats to survive - it's our job.

The worst case scenario is we pay for our apathy in blood, and even the complete reformation of an otherwise Libertarian society. It happens.

Do not underestimate the political power of those who are prepared to kill and die for their religion and/or ideology. Fanaticism of the type that violently intimidates can, and does, change the world.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As follows:

A German's View on Islam - worth reading because this is by far the best explanation of the Muslim terrorist situation I have ever read. His references to past history are accurate and clear. The author of this email is Dr. Emanuel Tanya, a well-known and well-respected psychiatrist--a man, whose family was German aristocracy prior to World War II, and owned a number of large industries and estates. When asked how many German people were true Nazis, the answer he gave can guide our attitude toward fanaticism.

-Paul Davie

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

'Very few people were true Nazis,' he said, 'but many enjoyed the return of German pride, and many more were too busy to care. I was one of those who just thought the Nazis were a bunch of fools. So, the majority just sat back and let it all happen. Then, before we knew it, they owned us, and we had lost control, and the end of our world had come.

My family lost everything. I ended up in a concentration camp and the Allies destroyed my factories.'

We are told again and again by 'experts' and 'talking heads' that Islam is the religion of peace and that the vast majority of Muslims just want to live in peace. Although this unqualified assertion may be true, it is entirely irrelevant. It is meaningless fluff, meant to make us feel better, and meant to somehow diminish the specter of fanatics rampaging across the globe in the name of Islam.

The fact is that the fanatics rule Islam at this moment in history. It is the fanatics who march. It is the fanatics who wage any one of 50 shooting wars worldwide. It is the fanatics who systematically slaughter Christian or tribal groups throughout Africa and are gradually taking over the entire continent in an Islamic wave. It is the fanatics who bomb, behead, murder, or honor-kill. It is the fanatics who take over mosque after mosque. It is the fanatics who zealously spread the stoning and hanging of rape victims and homosexuals. It is the fanatics who teach their young to kill and to become suicide bombers.

The hard, quantifiable fact is that the peaceful majority, the 'silent majority,' is cowed and extraneous. Communist Russia was comprised of Russians who just wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian Communists were responsible for the murder of about 20 million people. The peaceful majority were irrelevant.

China's huge population was peaceful as well, but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people.

The average Japanese individual, prior to World War II, was not a warmongering sadist. Yet, Japan murdered and slaughtered its way across South East Asia in an orgy of killing that included the systematic murder of 12 million Chinese civilians, most killed by sword, shovel, and bayonet.

And who can forget Rwanda, which collapsed into butchery. Could it not be said that the majority of Rwandans were 'peace loving'?

History lessons are often incredibly simple and blunt. Yet for all our powers of reason, we often miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points: peace-loving Muslims have been made irrelevant by their silence. Peace-loving Muslims will become our enemy if they don't speak up, because like my friend from Germany, they will awaken one day and find that the fanatics own them, and the end of their world will have begun.

Peace-loving Germans, Japanese, Chinese, Russians, Rwandans, Serbs, Afghans, Iraqis, Palestinians, Somalis, Nigerians, Algerians, and many others have died because the peaceful majority did not speak up until it was too late.

Islamic prayers have now been introduced into Toronto and other public schools in Ontario, and, yes, in Ottawa too while the Lord's Prayer was removed (due to being so offensive?! To whom? Not to the vast majority of Canadians!).

The Islamic way is only peaceful until the fanatics move in.

In Australia, and indeed in many countries around the world, many of the most commonly consumed food items have the halal emblem on them. Just look at the back of some of the most popular chocolate bars, and at other food products in your local supermarket. Foods on aircraft have the halal emblem, just to appease the privileged minority who are now rapidly expanding throughout the world.

In the U.K, the Muslim communities refuse to integrate and there are now dozens of 'no-go' zones within major cities across the country that the police force dare not intrude upon. Sharia law prevails there, because the Muslim community in those areas refuses to acknowledge British law.

As for we who watch it all unfold, we must pay attention to the only group that counts -- the fanatics who threaten our way of life.

Anyone who doubts the seriousness of this issue and just deletes this email without sending it on, is contributing to the passiveness that allows the problems to expand.

So, I beg you, extend yourself a bit and send this on and on and on in the hope that thousands, world-wide, read this, think about it, and send it on - before it's too late . . .. because we remained silent.

The Climate Alarmists Have Won

Andrew Atkin:

30 years is a long time to beat a drum - hard. And when you hammer people long enough, hard enough, they start to crack. Now, apparently, most of us believe in the idea of catastrophic anthropogenic global warming, in spite of the serious opposition to the alarmist position that most people have hardly even heard - or forgotten.

We are now at a point where it's all downwind sailing for the alarmist machine. They really can't go too wrong from here on in. They've created an entire generation of youth who take the scare seriously and believe their days on earth might be numbered. The global cult is born.

But anyway, I will say some basic things that most people will never hear about or ever independently ponder.

1. Climate always changes - like the wind, it's in a constant state of change.

The climate not changing is what would be freaky. Hence, pointing to any given point of climatic change proves nothing but business as usual, in itself. But of course the alarmist machine does not want people thinking like that. They want people to see any observed climate change as evidence of the encroaching apocalypse.

Well done to them. Most have bought it.

2. There is a 97% consensus that scientists agree that human caused CO2 emissions drives warming.

There has never been disagreement on the idea that CO2 is a greenhouse gas, and putting more of it in the atmosphere will induce at least some increase in warming. The real question, is whether or not it will be positive, negative, or too trivial to be of concern.

There is no evidence that CO2 is a concerning forcer of global warming. Though there is irrefutable evidence that CO2 has promoted about 20% more plant growth, and higher agrarian yields.

CO2 is plant food - not pollution.

But, you assumed that the scientific consensus was on the idea of a warming apocalypse, right? So did I, once upon a time. Well done again to the alarmist machine. They win.

3. Science is based on measurement - and reason. Predicting the climatic future demands that we develop accurate models of the future climate. It's the only way we can make predictions with any credibility.

All our climate models have thus far failed. So we do not have the measuring stick (yet) to discern the far-reaching impact of CO2 emissions.

Never fear. Just go back to the [extremely dodgy] 97% consensus. End of conversation, right? I mean who are you to question the thousands of scientists on their demonstrated inability to make the most basic measurements on our future climate?

4. A skeptic is not a cynic. A skeptic is a person who has an agenda to objectively test an assertion. A cynic is a person who has an agenda to discredit it. In a perfect world we should all be skeptics. Open-minded, impartial, curious and steadfastly objective.

The alarmist machine has done everything it can to demonise skeptics, to effectively make them look like childish cynics.

Well done. The demonisation programme has largely worked. Many intelligent men and woman are now quite afraid to express the "wrong" opinion on climate change. The alarmist machine has won the culture war. And indeed, that is when you know it's pretty much game over. Even New Zealand's get-to-the-facts ACT party is afraid of questioning climate alarmism now.

5. We have steadily grown a world of political and commercial interests that lean on 'fighting climate change' to signal virtue and sell products. The commercial world is now a powerful and devout ally. They will push the alarmist line when it suits them, and they will not even care if it's real or not. Money--and only money--talks in business.

The greatest beneficiaries to climate alarmism are the oil and gas industries. Their first choice is not to dig up more hydrocarbons to sell, but to restrict the supply and then sell existing stock at sky-high prices, and then reinvest their returns in...whatever (it doesn't matter). The oil and gas industries are in fact the alarmist-machine's greatest unholy ally.

And you thought the oil industry was the enemy, right? You forgot the supply / demand / price function.

Conclusion:

It really is sad to suppress CO2 emissions. It's been doing so much good for a planet on a starvation-diet of CO2, as compared to historic times. In fact, we need about 4x the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere from what we have now, to give the optimum for plant growth.

The alarmists have won. CO2 output will go down, fuel will become terribly expensive, economic development will be hampered, and it's a tragedy. It all happened because the media--I call them "the ministry of truth and virtue"--is loaded with an in-group of new-age Alarmists and Leftists of limited intelligence and curiously, though desperate for a purpose. They found that purpose in saving the world.

The facts don't matter now. The fact that there has been no real sea rise, that polar bears are doing well, that there's been no appreciable global warming at all, the fact that the plants haven't been happier in a long time, and the fact that the climate models still don't work....well, it all doesn't matter. Perception is politics and the mainstream media has got that base covered. The alarmists have won.

Video below: Further argument for evil bigots and Nazi's. Apparently it's a hoax? The problem is some of us don't just accept science - we understand it. That is why we are concerned. We know what a real hoax looks like.

If the only thing the powers-that-be need to do is cry "Consensus!" to win over public opinion, then we are in a very dangerous place.
